All Saints Pub Night on March 3rd was a big success with over 60 parishioners and community members enjoying a hearty pub grub menu of bangers & mash, Salisbury steak, vegetable curry and sticky toffee dessert all prepared by the All Saints team.
The pub quiz was a highlight of the evening, as teams worked together to complete a challenging trivia quiz. Teams “The Avengers” and “The Winning Team” tied for first place and the winning prize. Hats off also to the Pub Grubbers, The Shining Saints, Them and Us, and The Widgets for their quiz participation. The evening ended with dancing to some good ol’ oldies & goldies.
Profits from the evening will go to the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund’s (PWDRF) water program in northern Ontario (Pikangikum). All Saints King City has been supporting the Pikangikum water project for several years. It is led by Bishop Mark MacDonald, the National Indigenous Anglican Bishop of Canada. (More details on the Pikangikum water project can be found here: https://pwrdf.org/our-work/pikangikum-water-project/)
We look forward to inviting the community again next year to join in on the fun!
