Please donate to the Township of King Food Bank – with a special request for donations intended for young mothers. There is very real need in our seemingly well-to-do community for food and toiletries to give to those who have fallen on hard times. Those in need who are registered with the very active King Township Food Bank receive a week of non-perishable food, food cards, paper products, and pet kibble at one of three distribution centers.
The King Township Food Bank helps over 200 individuals monthly. All Saints and other churches in King Township collect for donations for the food bank, and this month we have been asked to provide donations for babies and mothers who have special needs. Especially welcome are diapers, wipes, baby food etc. Donations can be dropped off inside the back door of All Saints, which is open during office hours Tuesday to Thursday, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Donations can also be dropped off at Coppas grocery store in King City.
