Plan to Attend: “Sexual Misconduct Policy” Training (Sept 22)

All Saints will be holding “Sexual Misconduct Policy Training” after church on Sunday Sept 22. This training takes about 1-1.5 hrs. This training is a key component of our Diocese’s “Screening in Faith” program, and is different from a police screening. Sexual Misconduct Policy training must be renewed every 3 years.

If you are a volunteer, contractor, or salaried employee who is in a position of authority or trust, and have opportunities to be alone with youth, vulnerable adults, or financial resources & confidential information, then you must plan to attend this training. If you might find yourself volunteering to participate in church ministries this year that match the above descriptions, you are also invited to attend.

Examples of ministry roles who should attend include: bible study leaders, wardens, Eucharistic administrators, collection counters, lay pastoral visitors (home, nursing home, hospital visitors), treasurer, Sunday School leaders and adult helpers, church organist, server/acolyte instructor, clergy, all paid employees, Crosslink volunteers.

Please speak with Rev’d Elizabeth if you are in one of the positions described above and cannot make this training date.
