A Note from Your Churchwardens

May 24, 2020

It is with some sadness that today it is our duty to announce that the Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Green has decided to resign her position as our Incumbent as of July 14, 2020. Her last Sunday in the parish will be June 14. Bishop Peter Fenty has accepted her resignation and will be working to find an Interim Priest in Charge.

I know we all wish her well in whatever endeavors she undertakes as a priest in the future. We have appreciated her energy and the depth of her belief. Her revival of an All Saints youth program is a lasting legacy.

Elizabeth asked us to share the following message with you:

Dear Friends in Christ,

As I prepare to leave All Saints, King City, I do so with a heart full of gratitude for all that I have learned and experienced while serving as your Incumbent. I am especially thankful to those of you who have supported me from the start. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers as we enter into this period of change and transition that always comes with new beginnings.

For all that You Do,

And

For all that You Are,

Thank You and Thanks be to God!

With every Blessing,

Elizabeth+

We end with a prayer for the Ministry of the Church and for all Christians in their vocation,

Loving and everlasting God, by whose Spirit the whole body of your faithful people is governed and sanctified, receive our supplications and prayers, which we offer before you for all members of your holy Church, that in their vocation and ministry they may truly and devoutly serve you; through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Faithfully,

Your Churchwardens
