Lenten Charity – Thanks to all of you who collected coins during Lent. Over $500 was raised, and that was topped up to $1500 by proceeds from the Women’s Dinner. The $1500 was sent to FreeSchools which will fund an entire school for a year! Many Thanks.

10+ Girls Retreat

All girls 10+ are welcome to join us on Friday 11 -Saturday 12 June for a sleepover retreat. This retreat will be Confirmation Prep for those who wish to be confirmed, but those who are already confirmed are also welcome to attend. The journey of faith doesn’t end at Confirmation!

Parish Picnic Sunday June 27th – our annual picnic will be at the Burns farm again this year, where we will enjoy fun and games, a BBQ and Pot Luck lunch. All are welcome. We make way to the Farm following the 10.30am service.

Summer Day Camp will be run by Crosstalk Ministries and will be held at All Saints’ on July 12-16. Please put the date in your calendars and tell your kids and their

friends and parents. Ages 4 through to early teens are welcome. Those 14 plus may help as Assistant Counsellors. Watch for more details coming soon.

Parish Council meetings will be held on Monday at 7pm on September 13 and on November 15. All are welcome to come and take part in the decision making for the parish.

Summer Hours

Beginning July 4th, we will be moving to our Summer Hours for Sunday Services. Service times will be as follows and will continue until September 5th, 2010. Regular times will resume as of Sunday September 12th, 2010.

Summer Hours

8:00am – BCP Eucharist or Morning Prayer in the Chapel

10:00am – BAS Family Eucharist in the Chapel.

There is no Sunday School or nursery service throughout the summer. Activity packs relevant to each weeks themes will be provided for children.

Annual Parish Picnic

Our annual parish picninc will be Sunday June 27th, 2010 following the 10:30am service. The Burns’ have again graciously offered to host this fun family event. Please join us for a barbeque lunch, games, a bouncy castle and farm animals.

Don’t forget to bring your favourite picnic item for the potluck lunch!

Summer Camp

We will be hosting a summer camp this year from July 12 – 16. This camp will be run with Crosstalk Ministries for ages 4 – 14 and promises to be filled with fun, music, games, crafts and more. The cost is only $75 per child. To register, complete the registration form and return it to the church office along with a cheque payable to All Saints Anglican Church. Please note “Summer Camp” on the memo line of your cheques.
