This Friday, March 5th, 2010 at 8pm we are pleased to offer the third concert in our series. This concert is A Composer and His World and features the music of Alexander Rapoport. Mr Rapoport is a Senior Lecturer in Theory at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto. Alexander Rapoport holds diplomas in composition and [...] [...] On Friday January 29, 2010 at 8:00 pm, we are pleased to have the second in our concert series. This concert will feature a selection of pieces by mezzo soprano Alexandra Garrison. Those of you who attended the first concert in the series know what a wonderful evening of music it was. Those of you [...] [...] Don’t forget that this Friday, November 6th, 2009 we will have the first concert of our 2009-2010 concert series. It is our pleasure to be able to present the University of Guelph Chamber Choir under the direction of Marta McCarthy. Title: The University of Guelph Chamber Choir Just wanted to be sure everyone was aware that tickets for all concerts may be purchased at the door. Concert Series Tickets – are now on sale and may be purchased at coffee hour on Sunday’s or by contacting the office or at Crawford Wells and The Rose Gallery. Please endeavour to sell tickets to friends and neighbours, they make great Christmas gifts too! [...] Please take note that tickets for the upcoming concert series can be purchased at the Church Office, at Crawford Wells just north of the Church on Keele St or at the Rose Gallery on Doctors Lane, King City. On October 13th, 2009 at 1:00 pm, our own Quirino DiGiulio will be giving an Organ Recital at St. James Cathedral, Toronto. Please mark this date in your calendars to come and hear Quirino perform works by Padovano, Gabrieli, Valente, Cima and Frescobaldi. Be advised that the time of all the concerts in the series will be 8:00 pm. All other details are as previously advertised. |
